3 Days Monday-Wednesday (On Sale!)

Sale Price: $1,600.00 Original Price: $2,000.00

The 3-Day Mountain Record Retreat

Get out of town. Make something real.

Most records don’t fail because of bad gear or bad songs. They stall because life doesn’t stop long enough to let you finish them.

Middle Fork Studio sits on the edge of a 500-acre conservation preserve in the Boise Mountains, about an hour from the city and a long way from distraction. You’ll sleep here, eat here, and work here — until the record is done, or at least further along than you thought possible in three days.

What’s included:

• 3 full days of recording with engineer and producer J. Carmichael — someone who has recorded and produced multiple records and EPs, toured the Americana circuit, and tracked in studios in Seattle, Boston, Nashville and and more and now is opening up his studio for business in his home in the mountains beautiful Idaho mountains.

• Lodging in the onsite tiny house (up to 4 guests; beds in studio also available)

• Full studio access: Neve-style preamps, tube compression, Pro Tools, full drum kit, isolation room, live room

• Evening listening sessions, arrangement conversations, and as much porch time as you need

• Optional: finishing your mix with engineers I’ve developed relationships with over the years in Nashville, including one Grammy-winner and some badass up and coming engineers. (quoted separately)

Who this is for:

Singer‑songwriters, small bands, and solo artists working anywhere in the Americana, folk, punk, or rock neighborhoods — whether you lean quiet and acoustic or loud and electric. If your songs live in that honest, guitar‑and‑drums space and you want a producer who actually understands both the storytelling side and the energy of a louder band, this is for you.

Pricing:

Starting at $2000 for up to 5 people, lodging included.
